Please join us for an evening of Chicago Poetry and Fiction, featuring Kai Ihns, Jo Barchi, and Lou Leere.

Kai Ihns lives in Chicago. She’s the author of 2 poetry books, a dissertation, and some chapbooks. Currently, after being told many times that she should do this, she’s reading Elizabeth Bishop’s Collected and enjoying it very much. 

Jo Barchi is a writer and editor living in Chicago. They are an editor at Joyland Editions, where they edit novellas, and the author of Natural Wine, a chapbook released by Spiral Editions in 2025.

Louise A. Leere is a writer living in Chicago. She edits fiction for Chicago Review and performs on camera. She enjoys receiving emails at lou.a.leere@gmail.com.
