Translation nights is a monthly salon where we read translations we have made, translations others have made, and on occasion, our own writing. It's not a writing workshop. It is a convivial gathering of friends who read brief works from around the world, including poetry, short stories, essays, songs, and news articles (anything really) — then ask each other questions about them. They are a great way to practice your hand at translating, meet fellow lovers of literature, and grow your understanding of the world.

This Translation night will start at 6:30pm, but come by as early as 4:30 to translate something to read later in the night. We will have snacks and tea.
