Screening: "Born in Flames"

Presented by the Independent Labor Club of Chicago: “Born in Flames” is an incisive 1983 film that imagines a continued struggle, even after a socialist revolution. Many of the main characters of the film are media workers, radio hosts, journalists and editors. This film makes a direct call to action to media workers. Afterwards, we will host a discussion on the power and limits of media through the last 25 years of the Global War on Terror.
