Join Josh Lipnik, operator of the popular social media account Midwest Modern, for a photography-centered lecture on modern architecture in West Michigan, with an emphasis on the outsized role its furniture industry played in shaping the image of modern design in the popular imagination.  Lipnik is a Detroit-based architectural photographer, speaker, and writer who documents the architecture and built environment of Michigan and the greater Midwest. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and his work has been featured in outlets including Chicago Reader, Belt Magazine, and the Financial Times
