Play Reading Group: Pirandello’s “Six Characters in Search of an Author”

Come join a casual reading and discussion of one of the foundations of modern drama, Luigi Pirandello’s “Six Characters in Search of an Author.” Sometimes called the first absurdist drama, this play provoked brawls at its 1921 premiere in Rome. What’s a character without a play to be in?

This will be the the first play reading group, inviting the public to read old plays, along with new works by local playwrights.
